Patrick Marshallsay was until recently a Principal Engineer with a major Australian shipbuilding company.   While he retains his passion for engineering, and is available for engagement on a consulting basis, he now has more time for his other interests, which include photography and South-East Asian culture and history.

Patrick has been a keen photographer for about 45 years, and since 1973 he has travelled frequently to mainland South-East Asia.  Over the years he has developed a substantial library of images of South-East Asian subjects.  A collection of this work was displayed in an exhibition titled “People and Landscape: Vietnam and Her Neighbours” which was shown at the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists’ Association in Saigon from 24th April to 1st May 2016.

Patrick is also developing photographic projects on Australian and European themes.
