HTV Cycling Tour - 2011

Hồ Chí Minh City TV organizes the HTV Cycling Tour as a cycling event which is conducted annually in April.  The course leads due east from Saigon to the coast, then north as far as Nha Trang, before returning to Saigon via the central Highlands.  The tour terminates outside the Hồ Chí Minh City Journalists'  Association on 30th April, timed to coincide with the anniversary of the liberation of Saigon in 1975.

In 2011 we followed the tour for several days as guests of Hồ Chí Minh City TV, and I had the privilege of riding as a pillion passenger on one of the HTV press motorcycles over one section of the tour.
